How to convert .zfs to .zfs?

It's my first post here, so welcome on board!
For my MSc thesis I need to register few scans from Imager 5010, but unfortunately I have access only to Z+F LaserControl 7.6, which is incompatibile with files from this scanner. File extension (zfs) in Imager 5010 and i.e. Imager 5006 are the same, but files from 5010 only 8.* verions of Z+F LaserControl can read
Is it possible to convert zfs files from Imager 5010 to any format acceptable for 7.6 version?

Dear Slawomir,
you are right LaserControl 7.6 could not read .zfs files from Imager 5010. To extend functionality the format of .zfs files has been changed with Imager 5010.
To provide Z+F Imager 5010 user the necessary options to process their data the Z+F Imager 5010 includes in a package always LaserControl 8.0 to process all scanning data. This means if you have access to Z+F Imager 5010 you also have access to LaserControl 8.0 and don't have to convert the files. LaserControl 8.0 or higher could process .zfs files from Imager 5006 as well.

If you have any further questions please contact Z+F in Poland jacek.krawiec@laser-3d.pl They are able to check your service contract or provide a time limited demo version.

Henning, thanks for your reply. I've mailed Jacek yesterday, time limited demo version will be very helpful.

By the way, is it correct if Z+F server is asking me for login and password when I'm trying to download demo version of LaserControl from your FTP ( ftp://217.244.10.19/Z+FLaserControl/release/8.2.1 ) or it's something bad with my computer?

Hi Slawek,
nothing wrong with your computer You tryed to enter the customer download area, which is only for registed customers. Our support staff will provide you an access for a demo version and send you the necessary data.
Would be fine and interestsing if you could tell us about your results of the scanning job and your impression about the work with Z+F Imager 5010 when the work is done.

the actual .zfs format is out since september 2010. All SDK user, like Amberg, are able to implement the
new format to their software. I will contact Amberg and inform you asap about their planning.

First of all sorry for the late reply. It is correct what Henning is telling. The SDK is already available for us for implementing into TMS Tunnelscan.
We are right now working under pressure on the implementation of the new SDK so that you can measure with the Z+F 5010 and process your data with TMS Tunnelscan. We plan to release a new version in the next weeks but I'll inform you personally on this forum when we release the version.
